MicroGrade Online is designed to allow instructors to easily set up and modify grade standards for their classes
1. Click on the title of the class you wish to modify grade standards for, on the right-hand side
of the page under the My Classes header.
2. Click the Class Settings link displayed on the right-hand side of the page under the class name header.
3. The Class Settings page will appear. Click on the Define Grading Standards link.
4. The Grading Standards page will appear. A default set of grade standards has been set up for you, but you can
add, delete or modify grades as needed.
To change a letter grade: Click on the letter grade you want to change, then enter the new letter grade you want to use.
To change the cutoff for a letter grade: Click on the cutoff you wish to change, then enter the new cutoff value.
You may also change the default background color for any letter grade. This color will be displayed in the background of
the letter grade when you grade an assignment. To do this, click on the Color cell for any letter grade in the table and a
color picker will appear. Select the color you wish to use by clicking on it, then click the Close Window button.
If you want to delete any of the grades, simply click the red X next to any of the rows.
If you want to add a new letter grade, click the Add Row button and a new row will be added to the bottom of the
table. 5. When you are finished modifying the grade standards, click the Update Grade Standards button to save your changes. Alternately, you can click the "reload the default standards" link if you want to reset the original configuration. |
