MicroGrade Online is designed to allow instructors to easily grade assignments for an individual student or the entire class at once.
1. Click on the title of the class you wish to grade, on the right-hand side
of the page under the My Classes header.
2. Click the Grade Assignments link displayed on the right-hand side of the page under the class name header.
3. The Grade Assignments page will appear. You should see 3 tabs: Unscored Assignments, All Assignments and
All Students. By default, the Unscored Assignments tab should currently be displayed and lists all unscored assignments
in the class. You can switch to any of the other tabs by clicking on them. 4. To grade an assignment for the entire class, you can click on the title of the assignment on the Unscored Assignments tab or the All Assignments tab.
The title of the assignment will appear at the top, along with a "Details" link which can be clicked to see more
information about the assignment. Below this, you will see all students in the class.
5. To enter a score for any student on this assignment, simply click on any of the boxes in the Score column and
enter the desired score, then click the Update Scores button. The page will refresh and display the percent and
letter grade for the student you just graded. 6. If you want to enter grades for an individual student on all of their assignments, click the All Students tab.
The All Students page will display a roster of the students in the class.
7. Click on the name of the student you want to enter grades for. The student's individual grade page will appear.
8. To enter a score for any assignment, simply click on the desired box in the Score column, then enter the score. Click
the Update Scores button and the student's grade on that assignment will be displayed. The Final Grade totals at the bottom
of the page will also recalculate.
