Frequently Asked Questions 1. Our instructors use different computer platforms, some use Macintosh, some use Windows; do we need separate license agreements for each platform? No, the MicroGrade program for every platform supported is contained on the CD. 2. It is difficult for our school to keep track of who is using the software we licensed. How can we track how many users we have? Chariot’s web based system tracks the number of users for each site license. To find out the number of users on your license, call or email Chariot Customer Service. 3. How does the registration process work?
4. What if we start with a 10-user license and then more teachers want to use the program. How can we add more users? When more teachers at your school want to use MicroGrade, contact Chariot customer service for pricing or refer to the pricing schedule. You can pay by credit card or fax a purchase order to Chariot. Chariot customer service personnel can quickly access our online registration system and add the number of users you requested. New users can then install and register MicroGrade using the CD provided with the original license. Frequently Asked Questions: WebGrade Subscription Plans 5. Not all of the teachers covered by the site license want to use WebGrade; can we buy a WebGrade subscription for only those that do? Yes, individual subscriptions for WebGrade are only $25 per year. 6. Our school likes the site license version of WebGrade that requires only one password and login ID to access all grade information. Can we individually license that version of WebGrade on a per user basis? The site license version of WebGrade requires that we have a dedicated WebGrade site for each school. The minimum price must remain at $995 per year. |
