Variable content testing is used when an instructor or trainer wants to periodically test a particular group of
students on specific subject matter. Examples of variable content testing include a school or college mid-term
exam, a test for sales representatives covering a new product, and a quiz on certain chapters in a textbook.
Variable content tests usually are one-time events. When the test is completed and results are gathered, the test
is not used again for the same class of students.
Chariot's solution for variable content testing is MicroTest Pro. MicroTest Pro combines a desktop-based test generation system with a Chariot hosted Internet–based test administration and grade management system. MicroTest Pro simplifies Internet-based testing by eliminating the need for users to install and maintain server based software. Internet tests or quizzes are created on the instructors desktop and then uploaded to Chariot's web servers. How the system works
