  • Chapter, Question Order: The questions will be listed in order by chapter and in the order that they appear in each chapter

  • As Selected: The questions will be exported in the order that you originally selected them from the bank

These options allow you to determine how the questions will be formatted in your export file. At this point, you may also specify whether you want to export to a text or RTF file.

  • As Is (Unformatted): Questions will be exported as a plain text document without any tabs/returns or other formatting.

  • With Tabs and Returns: Questions will exported to a plain text document but will be formatted with tabs and returns

  • MicroTest Text Import Format: Questions will be exported with all the needed headers to allow them to be imported into MicroTest.

  • RTF Format: Questions will be exported to an RTF (Rich Text Format) document. This option will preserve the formatting from the program including fonts, tabs/returns, etc.

  • RTF Format With Import Tags: Same as RTF Format, but will format the questions with the appropriate headers to allow import into MicroTest.

Include Answer Key

This option simply allows you to choose whether an answer key will be included at the end of the file. (This option is disabled if you choose MicroTest Text Import Format)

3. When you are ready, click the OK button. The Name The Test To Disk File dialog will appear. Enter a name for your export file in the File Name box and select a location to save it in, then click Save.

4. A progress indicator will appear briefly as your questions are exported. When the progress indicator disappears, your questions have been exported successfully.
