Summer Break Reminder - Don't Forget To Deactivate Your Copy of MicroGrade!

If there is a possibility that your school computer will be replaced or re-imaged, don't forget to deactivate your copy of MicroGrade before you leave for the summer. Deactivating your copy of MicroGrade will allow you to reinstall the program and re-use your MicroGrade license for another school year. If you don't deactivate your copy of MicroGrade, you might need to purchase another license to reinstall the program on another computer.

Need To Import/Export Students or Scores From/To Microsoft Excel?

Many of our users have asked if they can import student rosters or scores from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. An Excel spreadsheet can be saved as a text file which can then be imported into MicroGrade. For more information on how you can do this, visit our website at:

New Version of MicroGrade Coming Soon

We received thousands of user comments and suggestions concerning the latest version of MicroGrade. We sincerely appreciate your continued support! The MicroGrade development team carefully considered each suggestion before finalizing the feature set. The list of new features is available at:

The shipping date for version 6.1.3 is August 15, 2006.

Note: Schools or instructors purchasing MicroGrade after May 15, 2006 and users of version 6.1.0 and higher, are eligible to receive the new version at no charge. The new version will be compatible with class files created with earlier versions of MicroGrade.

Technical Support For MicroGrade Version 5 Ends

MicroGrade Version 5 is now 6 years old and several users have reported compatibility issues and grade calculation problems that are beyond our control. The users with problems invariably have installed their older version of MicroGrade on newer computers with operating systems that were developed well after their version of MicroGrade was produced. Consequently, we are no longer able to provide technical support for MicroGrade versions older than 6.0.

Effective June 15, version 5 users will no longer be able to upload classes to WebGrade.
